The materials

Ravasi has always been attentive to the quality of its products but also to that of its working environments, which is why we exclusively use eco-friendly materials that are natural and 100% recyclable, whilst also allowing Ravasi to operate in perfectly healthy environments.

Wood: eternal and renewable

Timber is a raw material par excellence that is at the heart of our mail drop solutions. Veneered in a walnut finish, pure poplar plywood and solid wood for indoor boxes in the Classic Line, okoumè phenolic marine plywood for the Outdoor Line to guarantee high resistance to the most adverse weather conditions and great stability given the broad use of this material in a difficult contexts such as nautical environments.

Aluminium: modern, ductile and light

One of the most modern materials at our disposal, it is in fact extruded aluminium that doors, edges, profiles and all visible parts of Ravasi’s outdoor boxes are produced, whilst thick sheeting is utilised for roofing and cladding.

Steel: sturdiness and recyclability

All the structures and posts supporting our mail drops are made of steel, lacquered with highly resistant paints, given that steel guarantees maximum reliability in outdoor environments exposed to the public.
