Originally known as Fratelli Prada, the fashion house was founded in 1913 by brothers Mario and Martino Prada, who opened a leather, handbags, travel and luxury accessories shop in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan.
Project Location
The Fondazione Prada, a museum building complex located in Milan, consisting of a permanent contemporary art gallery with works by various artists, designed by OMA – a Rotterdam-based Dutch architectural firm founded in 1975 by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas and Greek architect Elia Zenghelis, together with Madelon Vriesendorp and Zoe Zenghelis.

Ravasi’s Solution
Production of 200 lockers for the museum venue and 70 for the cinema, with a 6-metre satin-finish aluminium tops built and fitted on-site without joints, along with garment racks made of polished stainless steel tubing positioned on top of the lockers. Modular umbrella holders are also made with an interesting solution thatsees them transforms into backpack storage by simply moving an aluminium grid.
